I am flying into Copenhagen, then entering Sweden from there. Would a Sweden rail pass include the fare from the Copenhagen airport to Malmo, or should I expect to pay that as a separate fare? I researched but didn’t find this info on the railpass pages.

I don't know what you're planning, but a rail pass might not be the best option.
