Stockholm to Helsinki Viking line Questions

Hi all,
I am planning to take the Viking Line from Stockholm to Helsinki.
Question # 1:
I saw something online saying that Viking Line has "Last minute" deal. But, I also saw someone said it is cheaper to buy your ticket as early as possible, called "early bird" discount.. Any information on that?

Question # 2
For cabins on Viking line, the information says all cabins have shower except "budget". What are the cabins, or price range cabin considered as budget cabins?

Cabin descriptions are pretty clear on their web site. In the shopping cart area, the options are shown in Step 3 of the booking process. They probably have both advance discounts (if you want to be certain) and last-minute discounts (if rooms don't fill up).
