Stockholm Pass vs Student Discount

I am considering purchasing the Stockholm Pass for my family (me, wife, and two college aged kids) and am trying to calculate the cost savings based on the attractions/sights we are going to visit. Several of the attractions/sights offer a student discount. does anyone know the definition of a student discount in Sweden and what ID is required to get it?

Thanks

I speak Swedish. If you tell me which sights you are referring to, I can check the Swedish language page and tell you if it has any rules listed.

I checked Skansen and it indicates the student price applies to high school and university students who show a valid student id.

It is not clear whether they would accept an ID from the US, but you could have your kids bring their IDs and ask.

SJ is the big train company in Sweden, they basically only accept ISIC-cards.

But I guess most places accepts foreign cards that they understand, shouldn't be a problem if they are in English. Some places might not even ask for it, they might just accept the age range.

Laura and Anders - thank you for your prompt replies. Our tentative agenda for Stockholm includes: Drottningholm, Vasa Museum, Skansa, City Hall, the Royal Palace, Nobel Peace Prize Museum and a day trip to the archipelago. Thanks and safe travels!
