No opinions, but a recommendation that you use Booking.com to look for hotel rooms for your group.
You can create your initial search in a variety of ways and filter your results in even more ways. You can also use it to check the hotels you mention for details and most importantly, for reviews by people who've actually stayed there.
Happy hotel hunting!
It's a bit tricky. Is two separate rooms not an option? But many Scandics have smaller suites that have room for four people. At least Scandic Continental and Scandic Sjöfartshotellet have them.
I've stayed at the Stockholm Sheraton twice. U.S. sized rooms just five minutes from the central train station and just over the bridge to Gamla Stan.
They might have rooms big enough
Try looking for hotels with two adjoining rooms. You may have better selection.
We stayed at the Stockholm Sheraton in 2019. They had large double rooms with two king-sized beds, if that works for you.
I've stayed at the Sheraton once, and honestly wasn't impressed. It is also not the best location IMHO with a lot of traffic outside.
