Once I booked my flight back home, I noticed I was departing from Vasteraas Airport, which is an Hour away from Stockholm. I'm having difficulties in purchasing a train tickets. I believe that there is service from www.sj.se. Is this the only train that brings you to Vasteras Airport? How else can I get there? Can't find tickets.

You might try taking the airport bus (flygbuss). It leaves from Cityterminalen which is across the street from Stockholm Central station.

Your other option is to take the train to Västerås Central and from there, take local bus #3 to the airport

Thank you for the information. We are looking at using the train, sj.se However, I'm not able to see routes from stockholm central station to Vateraas. Even though I see that there are trains that depart every 30 minutes. Must be something At my end.

Richard, I'm not quite sure from your last message what you are or aren't seeing online, but it might help to copy and past the town name as the other Laura provided it, complete with accent marks. That also works for schedules (not tickets) through the DB (German) schedule site.

After searching multiple sites I was able to find a direct train route from https://www.raileurope.com/index.html Thank you all for helping me out

Richard, there were plenty of direct trains (Stockholm C to Västerås C) listed on the SJ site so don't know what issue you were experiencing. There is no train to the Västerås airport, so if you selected Västerås Flygplats as your destination, the SJ site will show one change where you transfer to the bus.
Personally, I would choose the flygbuss if the time works since it is direct to the airport.

Thank you for the information. Currently, the bus schedule is not available for july 29th. I will keep an eye on it. My flight leaves at 12:50 and need an early ride. For what I see now, the earliest scheduled trip on fridays is noon. Which is too late for me. The 8:30 trip doesn't seem to be available on fridays but maybe they will change that for the summer months.
