We are planning to visit Sweden in June to reconnect with my heritage. My Great-grandfather came from the Skog area. Which would be a preferable town to stay in as we research geneology? We are looking at Soderhamn, Bolinas and Hudiksvall. Although we will rent a car to visit Skog and other sites, we will take the train to one of these towns and have a day to rest and walk about before we get our rental car.
