Question about Hjärtenholm Agricultural Museum, Smalands, to the west of Vaxjo

In August we're driving from Kalmar to Helsingborg and crossing to Helsinger. Has anyone been to this museum? What were your impressions? My husband loves old farm equipment and we're both interested in farming techniques and in ethnographic museums, so thought we might give it a try as a short stop during our drive that day. From descriptions online, it seems we would get a feel for local old farming ways. From what I can gather, though, the museum may be reframing it's mission, which makes me wonder if it's worthwhile to visit. It looks like there is a barn of old machinery; am also wondering if there are English descriptions available. Was considering the House of Emigration in Vaxjo as our other stop that day.

I also looked at the machinery museum in Huskvarna, which looks really cool, but that adds hours to our drive and steals time from Kalmar and Oland.

Thanks for your reply! It occurred to me to call them, but I'm also interested in the opinions of people who have visited there. This museum seems to be part of the Vaxjo museum 'system' but perhaps newer and not as well developed; at least that is my impression.

In that case, I'm sorry but I can't help you. It doesn't seem to have any reviews on Tripadvisor either. But if you go, you should write a review afterwards!
