Public Transportation in Stockholm

Trying to plan my transportation in and around Stockholm.

What does an SL access card cover (e.g. bus, tram, subway, boat, T-bana)? Would it cover the Flygbuss from the airport? Or conversely, what is not covered? I'm leaning toward a 7 day pass (I'll be in Stockholm five days).

Do you need to carry the card, or can you have a pass in your phone using the Transit App?

Finally, if you need to carry a card, and it covers the Flygbuss, can you purchase a card at the airport before boarding the bus?

It covers all SL traffic within Stockholm county (note that there is a station fee if you want to take the commuter train Arlanda). You can have the ticket on a physical card or on your phone using the SL app.

Flygbussarna is run by a private company and has their own tickets.

We too will be in Stockholm using public transportation. Is there is a discount for buying a certain number of days or a week?
