Problem with trains in Sweden?

As part of my trip planning I was searching for train timetables and fares from Copenhagen to Stockholm. My search on 2 different sites (Trainline and RailEurope) both show no trains - only buses - on any date for the next couple of months.

I then tried Copenhagen to Hamburg with no problem but Stockholm to Oslo or Ostersund also reveal only buses.

Does anyone know if there is a current issue with trains to/from Stockholm?

Avoid 3rd party sites and use www.sj.se for trains in Sweden, as well as for trains between Sweden and Denmark/Norway.

Normally there are 7 daily direct high speed trains between Copenhagen and Stockholm, and several more with a change in Malmö.

I, too, was wondering about Swedish trains (but from Stockholm to Gothenburg). I think there is rail maintenance being scheduled which is why only buses are available? I'm still trying to find out.

It's usually a better idea to start your own thread, that way you will get notifications. But when are you trying to book, and where are you looking for trains?

If you go to the site Badger mentioned, change it to English, and then select Traffic Info followed by upcoming traffic work, you can see the dates where track work is planned for various routes. There are some dates where trains are canceled / replaced by buses due to track work.
