pre-book attractions in Stockholm

Hello - I was wondering if it was necessary to book attractions in advance mid-August. Some things we want to do for sure:

  • Vasa museum
  • Skansen
  • Under bridge cruise
  • Cruise to Vaxholm
  • Drottingham Palace

Should we get tickets in advance for any of these? Would rather not purchase in advance due to possible adverse weather on the day booked, but I don't want to miss any of them if they are at capacity!

It might be worth it to buy tickets to Drottningholm in advance, but for the rest it's not needed.

We are planning to got to Drottingham Palace on Mid-Summer's Day. Would you think it will be more crowded due to the holiday or less crowded since everyone is busy with family? I bought ticket for Skansen and the Vasa for Mid-Summer's Eve as there is a cruise ship in town and we were not planning to leave Stockholm so Skansen seemed like the place to go.

Note that while you can buy tickets for the Vasa museum in advance, it does not give you any special rights. If there is a queue at the entrance, you still have to stand in it.
