I need to pick up a rental car from Malmo in 10 days, but have not reserved it yet. Please, when does the Malmo airport location have human/ counter service? I cannot speak or read Swedish and do not do well with technology, so a self serve kiosk would not work for me. Hertz agent says Lokgatan and Agnesfridsvagen locations are kiosk/ self serve only. Hertz airport location message about service says if nobody is at counter, use kiosk. I would be picking up Friday morning and returning Saturday late afternoon or eve. I can switch plans to rent car Monday and return Tuesday if I can be sure I can get human service at the airport. Hertz agent tried to call the airport location to get an answer, but the guidance was in Swedish, so neither of us can get an answer. Can anyone help me with this? Thank you in advance.
The Malmö airport is not that close to the city, so if you are not actually flying there, just be aware it is about a 40 minute bus ride from the central train station.
Do you have to use Hertz? There are other centrally located car rentals that seem to have counter service (Avis/Budget, Sixt), maybe these are a better option for you?
I checked the Lokgatan office in March, at the time it had these hours: Mon-Fri 7-18 and Sat 9:30-14. Agnesfridvägen is Bilia car sales office explicitly open for car rental Mon-Fri 7-18 ("biluthyrning" here: https://www.bilia.se/anlaggningar/jagerso-volvo)
