Luggage lockers in Stockholm

We are taking our first cruise to the Baltics in August. We'll arrive at 7:30 am and the ship will not depart until 6:00 pm. I want to see some of the city, as our cruise ends in Copenhagen. I figure I can count on 5-6 hours of sightseeing before reporting to the ship. Is there a place to store our luggage until we head to the port?

I have the guidebook 'Northern Europe Cruise Ports' but couldn't find an answer.

Also, any suggestions on what to see in such a short period of time would be appreciated.

Thanks all -
molly

The main rail station has lockers, although on the one day I visited, by the time I returned to pick up my bags, a line had formed waiting for lockers to open up. I couldn't say if this situation is typical, but I don't think it should prove a problem if you arrive early.

Be careful at Stockholm Central Station. Great station and location but they have their share of pick pockets and petty thieves. Keep a watchful eye on your stuff.
