Looking for cheap accommodations in Stockholm

I am a member of a home exchange organization, but having a hard time finding a home that takes Guest Points, however I did find one that's located in Aspudden. I would love to hear from anyone who is familiar with the area. One drawback (other than location, perhaps) is that I'm told that the bed is a futon that's on the floor, which doesn't appeal. So...I am searching for inexpensive accommodation. I am open to hostels that have private rooms, but even those seem a bit pricey. I'd be staying for 9 nights.

Would love to hear your suggestions.

I stayed at the Generator hostel in Stockholm about a year ago. I was in a four bed room but I am sure they have private rooms. The location was great you could walk to the palace and other sites. There were people of all ages even in the dorms at 45 i was not the oldest

Generator definitely has private singles, I am staying in one next weekend! It's not cheap though especially on Saturday night. Stockholm is just expensive.
