I can tell you one I don't recommend: Söderport. I was very disappointed with the fish I was served at lunch. It seemed to be totally unseasoned. I ate early, so the kitchen shouldn't have been under much pressure at the time. I don't know why I ended up eating there. I see it has a rating of 3.9 (maybe it was a bit higher in 2023), and I usually check ratings before I pick a place. It's one of the closest places to the castle, so I guess it's taking advantage of that.

A bit of a hidden gem for lunch, or an early dinner, is Kroppkakan. They serve the local speciality Kroppkakor and nothing else, located on Arvid Västgötes gata 1 a bit outside the city centre.
Otherwise you can have a look at Postgatan, Slipkajen or Gröna stugan.
