Inlandsbanan train

Hello

I am wondering whether anyone has travelled on or done a package tour on the Inlandsbanan train?

I had originally contemplated doing it one way - from Mora to Gallivare and then planning our trip independently from there to Narvik in Norway and thence southwards through Norway.

However, there is now a package called 'Trains, Trains and more Trains' which heads north from Mora to Ostersund, then west to Trondheim in Norway and north to Narvik and returning in Sweden via Gallivare to Mora. This sounds perfect as it meets all of my original plans.

The program of tours for 2023 will not be released until October/November 2022 but I am interested if anyone is doing this trip in 2022. I would love to know the dates you are going and also some feedback on the experience.

Basically the difference is if you want to book it on your own or if you want to buy a package.

Anyone done or doing a tour on the Inlandsbanan in 2022 or before?

I am interested in actual experience of these tours, in particular the Trains, Trains and More Trains which is a circuit through Norway and Sweden. I think 2022 may be the first year that this particular route has been offered.
