Humlegården Park Sledding

I'm putting together a rough itinerary for 1 week in Stockholm from the 19th to 26th, and have a question about Humlegarden Park. I have read that staff at the park lets kids borrow plastic sleds for sledding when it snows. Does anybody know where I can find out what days and time limits the park is staffed for this, especially the days before Christmas? Or can someone recommend a place to buy a cheap plastic sled between Ostermalm and the park? Despite myself growing up in the Northeast, we live in a place where it's very rare for snow accumulation and my 5 year old daughter has never went sledding before. That park and its gentle slopes seem like the perfect place for her to experience it for the first time.

As a side note, I'm impressed just how much there is do to in city, and how child friendly it seems. We are greatly looking forward to it.

Thanks for the replies. I def understand snow is not guaranteed, but like to be prepared with a game plan nonetheless. The other thing I can’t find info on is the T-Bana schedule on Christmas Day. There’s a hockey game on Christmas evening at the Avicii Arena that I’d like to go to with my oldest child. However, we will skip it if public transport will not be running.

I guess the hockey game is on 26th? (Christmas Eve is 24 Dec and Christmas Day is 25th). I found this from last year regarding the metro, likely something similar this year: https://kund.printhuset-sthlm.se/sl/vhelgtub.pdf 24th has Sunday schedule until 15:00 and then a limited schedule. 25th has Saturday schedule. 26th has Sunday schedule. So no problem getting to the game. Fun fact about 24th 15:00: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/From_All_of_Us_to_All_of_You#Sweden

Thanks for the info once more. Due to a generic hockey website showing the games being played on the 25th, I had the day wrong. Confirming on the Avicii Event Calendar, the game is being played on the 26th.

Will also have to check out the Donald Duck Special!
