Hotels or airbnbs in Stockholm

It is expensive so you may get a better deal staying in an Airbnb. I stayed at the Radisson Blu Waterfront. nice place
I would stay in the Gamla Stan.

I think I stayed at the Unique Hotel in Stockholm. It was a short walk up from the main train station. I'm a little uncertain because I can't find a record in my email of the name of the hotel, and based on their site they've remodeled extensively. Anyway, I got a good rate there, it was nice and quiet, and had a lovely breakfast included in the rate.

I was in Stockholm a few weeks ago and stayed in an AirBnB. Since hotels are pretty expensive there, I opted for an AirBnB to save some money and was happy I did! The AirBnB I stayed in was in Sodermalm, a hip area of Stockholm with great shops, restaurants and cafes. I rented a room in an apartment and could easily walk to Gamla Stana and other areas of Stockholm. Just around the corner was a hill that overlooked Stockholm (breathtaking views!). One of the Stockholm Free Tours walks around this area and I highly recommend that as well.

Needless to say, I loved the area. The room I stayed in had only one bed, but it was large and could easily fit two people. If you want to know the apartment I stayed in, just send me a message :)
