My family will be driving out of Stockholm on Thursday, the day before Midsummer's Eve and making a lunch stop in Linköping. Would you stop in Gamla Linköping or go downtown to where the cathedral is? We prefer to park the car only once. We will be eating lunch and maybe walking around for an hour.
Also, we want to stop off to get some wine and spirits, and am wondering about long lines and crowds. Would the Systembolaget be crazy busy in a town like Linköping or should we go farther out in the country to get our supplies. Tack! for any advice.
