What is the best way to travel from Stockholm to Copenhagen? Is there a train connection? When we looked all the departure and arrival destinations were in Swedish and not very helpful.
Thanks to all. I have read elsewhere that the area of southern Sweden that the train traverses is not very scenic (and therefore best traversed in the night) so we may end up flying.
I am intrigued by the "seat 61" reference though...
Many thanks to Keith for the link to "Seat 61". Amazingly useful site created by someone with a passion for travel by train and ferry. Given that the time difference between the train and air when the associated security and airport-to-central station connections are added in I may ride the rails after all.
And Thanks to Mark Smith, the creator of "The Man in Seat 61".
The scenery along the train route is similar to that of Wisconsin. Pretty but not amazing scenery.
A 5 hour train ride is a little longer than the total time for a flight. Flying would save you between one and two hours.
Looks like you're on the right track.
