Hello,
As there are currently limited flights, I am thinking of driving from Stockholm to UK. Which one is the best route and do you know if the European borders are open to everyone?
Thank you!

Given the number of border restrictions at the moment it will not be that easy. My recommendation is to book a flight, SAS has a daily flight from Stockholm to London until the 20th.
Thanks for that. The problem is that i am travelling with my cat so i can only fly with KLM and they keep cancelling my tickets. I feel like there are not many options.
Why can you only fly KLM? SAS allows cats as well. I did a quick check on their websites and their rules seem pretty similar.
I called them and they dont allow any pets from UK. They usually transfer them as cargo but not during the pandemic.
The French borders are closed until 15 June at the earliest.
No pets to the UK either? The only information I can find on their website is that you are limited to one piece of carry on luggage.
There is a restriction for flying pets in the cabin from and to UK. They can fly with SAS cargo but there are currently not available flights as the have limited staff and they prioritise more essential items which makes sense i guess. Only KLM allows pets in cabin but they have cancelled almost all of their flights.
I find it strange that KLM would allow pets in the cabin since it seems that the UK does not allow pets in the cabin on flights to the UK.
But in that case it will be tricky. You might be able to drive if you can convince the German border guards that your trip is essential. The Danish borders are closed so going through Denmark is not an option. And you have to check the Dutch rules, I don't know how open their borders are.
