Hello, my husband and I will be in Stockholm in early July for 9 days. Other than Stockholm what day trips can we do? I suppose I’ll have to buy a pass just like what the others mentioned. Also, trying to figure out clothing to bring - assuming it won’t be that cold.

A couple of suggestions for daytrips ...
- An island in the archipelago
- Uppsala
- Gripsholm Slott - this is a medieval castle in the very pleasant town of Mariefred. You can take an old fashioned steam train for part of the journey. https://www.kungahuset.se/royalcourt/visittheroyalpalaces/gripsholmcastle.4.396160511584257f218000856.html
- Drottningholm
I would include a pair of shorts, a sweater, and a raincoat on a trip to Stockholm in July. Generally, the weather is quite comfortable (low 70s) but it is possible to have a day that is over 90 degrees or a day that is in the 50s and rainy. It can also be a lot cooler at night.
