Copenhagen to Stockholm by train

I have two questions regarding train travel on Swedish railways between Copenhagen and Stockholm in July 2018.
1. How far in advance can you book tickets on the SJ website. Presently it is showing fares as being unavailable for the date at the beginning of July that I would like to travel.
2. The website says that trains cannot be taken to the Stockholm Central station because of construction this summer. It recommends disembarking at Stockholm Sodra or Flemingsberg. I will be staying in a part of town known as Gamla Enskede and will be staying a few blocks from Sandsborg T station. Where would you recommend that I disembark at Stockholm Sodra or Flemingsberg?

You can get of at Stockholm Södra and from there it is a short walk to Medborgarplatsen T-Bana(metro) station. From there you can get a train to Sandsborg.
Also you might want to correct the headline of your post.

Dear Morton:
Thank-you for the advice and for catching the error in the title. My dyslexia is catching up to me. Unfortunately I can't figure out how to change the title for the post.

Would you know how far in advance I can buy the tickets on Swedish rail. I assume that the tickets will be cheaper as soon as they go on sale however if I don't have a date of when the tickets go on sale, I am bound to forget about things.

Dear Morton and other readers:
I think that I have figured out the answer to my question regarding ticket releases by Swedish rail. I went to the FAQ on their website and supposedly they release ticket schedules four times per year It looks like the schedule for the summer season will be released March 14th. They did comment that schedule releases are sometimes delayed if there is uncertainty over construction work. I have put the link below.

Hi jrwest1,
I am so glad you asked this question. My husband & I are doing the same thing in late June, so it's good to know when the tickets will open up for sale.

Have a great trip!
