Copenhagen to Älmhult

Hi everyone,
at the end of July I'm going to spend 3 nights in Copenhagen, 1 night in Malmö e 2 nights in Älmhult.
I have a couple of questions.
First one regarding train tickets. How far in advance should I buy the 3 train tickets I need (cph-malmö + malmö-älmhult + älmhult-cph)? Is the price going to change much if I wait till that week? Or is it better if I buy them now?
Second question. I have seen there are some easy trails around the lakes near Älmhult (looking for something to do other than the main reason I'm there: the IKEA Museum). Has anyone ever been on one of those trails?
Any other suggestion is very welcome.
Thank you in advance!

For the trains to/from Älmhult: If you want to take the high speed trains (X2000), buy the tickets now. If you are willing to take regional trains (Öresundståg), you can buy the ticket whenever you want, it is a fixed price.

For Copenhagen-Malmö, it's a fixed price with Öresundståg.

Unfortunately not, but what do you want to know? They seem like normal trails.

Thanks Badger. I was looking forward to your answers!
Regarding the trails... I was just looking for a general feedback as I haven't found much online. But I am more than willing to explore the area without knowing much beforehand. It will be fun.

I'm not that familiar with area so I can't tell you that much. But basically any nice area close to a town or village will have trails or footpath in it so it can be accessed easy. The local tourist information probably has maps.

But for exploring the lakes, my suggestion is rent a kayak. There is a camping on the lakeshore just north of Älmhult where you can rent a kayak for a reasonable price.

That sounds great. I am not sure about kayaking solo, but I will definitely look into it. Thanks Badger!

I wouldn't be too worried about kayaking solo as long as the weather is good. It is a pretty small lakes so no large vawes or tides to worry about. And if you stay close to the shore, it is not that deep.
