Copenhagen --> Oslo --> Stockholm

I will be traveling for work this June starting from Stockholm and taking a cruise along the Baltic. I was wanting to go a week before to travel to Copenhagen and Oslo and end up Stockholm. Does my plan seem reasonable? From what I've read, 2-3 days in each of these cities seems to work well. I'm not really into museums, so most of my time would be spent walking and seeing the sites. I realize I will be traveling a lot and not spending much time in the cities, but I don't have the ability to arrive any sooner.

  • Fly into Copenhagen and stay 2 nights
  • Fly from Copenhagen to Oslo in the afternoon and stay for 2 nights
  • Take the train from Oslo to Stockholm (either overnight or afternoon) and stay for 2-3 nights before I depart for the cruise
  • Fly out of Stockholm after my work trip ends

Thank you!

It's a bit rushed in my opinion and you also have to factor in travel time, including checking in and out of hotels, getting from hotels to the airport etc.
Copenhagen and Stockholm could use 3 days each, even if you say you are not into museums (even so don't miss the Vasa museum in Stockholm, it's spectacular). That's not including the most popular day trips such as Roskilde, Helsingør and Frederiksborg Castle from Copenhagen or the archipelago from Stockholm
Oslo is the least interesting of the Scandinavian capitals in my view and some of it's main draws are its museums, such as the Bygdøy museums (Viking ships, polar exploration ships, Kontiki) or the Edvard Munch museum. If you just want to walk around and look at the buildings, you will be done with Oslo in an afternoon.

I think I will end up going to the Viking and Munch Museum in Oslo and possibly the Vasa museum, but that will probably be it. I am thinking 1 1/2 days in Oslo will be enough for me. I may add another day onto Copenhagen and Stockholm depending on when I need to leave for work.

There's not likely to be an overnight train from Oslo to Stockholm. I don't think it has run for several years, even in summer. Day trains take 5 hours.
