concert at Rosendal Sessions

I'm interested in buying tickets to an evening music event at Rosendal Sessions while we are in Stockholm. The venue seems to be open-air, with some permanent seats as well as lawn seating. Is this correct?

Lawn seating is sittplats...medtag egen stol eller filt?

A numbered reserved seat is parkett numrerad sittplats pa parkett?

Some of the website where I can buy tickets is in Swedish and some in English. With all the unofficial websites that sell tickets for concerts in the US, I want to be sure I would be purchasing from the correct site, which seems to be tickster.com.

And the venue is easily accessible by public transportation?

The concert is Tommy Korberg; not familiar with him but we love to experience the "local" favorites. The event is in August but it appears that tickets are going fast.

Thanks for assistance!

Looks like about a 5 to 10 minute walk from the Bellmansro Tram stop on the No. 7 line.

I haven’t attended a concert in the Rosendals Slottspark, but I do speak basic Swedish and lived in Stockholm for several years so will try to answer your questions

Rosendals Slottspark is in the center of Djurgården (the island with Skansen and the Vasa Museum) and about a 10 minute walk from one of the #7 tram stops.

Tickster is the official website. https://secure.tickster.com/en/e4uv3nmbylyxjxv/selectproductgroup

You have a choice of lawn seating (sittplats i det gröna) - bring a chair or blanket
OR an assigned seat (sittplats på parkett). In a theatre, ”parkett” means seating in the stalls ( i.e., orchestra seating in U.S.). Since this is an outdoor venue, I am guessing that they just have some chairs set up. Perhaps a Swede (Badger) can clarify.

Tommy Körberg is a well-known Swedish singer and actor. He has a beautiful voice. He sang in the original West End cast of ”Chess”, a musical by Björn and Benny of ABBA. The song ”Anthem” from that musical sung by Körberg is incredibly moving and really highlights his amazing voice:

This venue is very close to one of my favorite places for a summer lunch in Stockholm, Rosendals Trädgårdskafe. It is an apple orchard and organic garden that serves beautiful breads, salads, and baked goods. I don’t think it is open in the evening, but if you are on Djurgården during the day I recommend it for lunch or a coffee break.

I also have not attended a concert there but I'll to answer your questions. As mentioned, it is easy to get there by tram. Or by bus to Sjöhistoriska. I have no idea what the seats will look like, but I also guess that it is a bunch of chairs set up on the lawn and nothing fancy.

And yes, Tommy Körberg is a superstar, you will have a great experience. His big breakthrough was in 1968 when he released his first solo album. He has since then had a long carrier in music. As mentioned in Chess. But he has also represented Sweden twice in Eurovision Song Contest, in 1969 with Judy min vän, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RRI5mzHoi5g and in 1988 with Stad i ljus, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UxFkbcFhP50

But he has also sung most things that can be sung. A great recording of "Oh Holy night" e.g., https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lMweMI3SqU8 (at least among my friends on social media there are huge debates about who has recorded the best version of the song, Tommy Körberg or Jussi Björling. I'm team Jussi myself, but I can't deny that Körberg's version is great.)

Many thanks for the helpful replies. Looks like I'd better snap up some tickets ASAP.
