We are picking up a Volvo in Gothenburg in August. Ultimately we will drive to the Italian Dolomites via Copenhagen to Germany.
We would like to see a bit of the west coast of Sweden and Denmark. We would prefer to 1. not drive exclusively on E6/20 and 2. Find a place on the outskirts of Copenhagen close to the metro and avoid city driving. Following that we'd like suggestions to proceed to Germany. We have 12 days to get to northern Italy. Other than Copenhagen, big cities are not in our vision, we prefer hamlets, walking and hiking.
