Cabins on Stockholm/Helsinki Ferry??

We are a family of two adults and two kids (11 and 13) looking onto booking a cabin for this voyage. The family cabins appear to sleep up to 6 (which is more expensive and we do not need this much space). The next rung down appears to be a cabin that allegedly sleeps up to 4 people, but only appears to have 3 beds?? (A top bunk that can fold down and two beds at floor level which can be pushed together to make a double). Am I missing something? Is there a cabin that has 4 beds?

Thank you!

Viking or Silja, and which ship are you looking at? Most have cabins that sleep four.

Next down from Family looks like the Moomin, and it's clearly listed as only for 3. It looks like the A-Class is available as a 4 pax configuration.

I disagree with the notion that Silja is more elegant and Viking is more of a party boat. And I think anyone that claims that don't know what they're talking about. It might have been the case 10-20 years ago, but today they are pretty similar. They both have their advantages and disadvantages.

But if you are looking at Silja and don't want a family cabin, both the A-class, B-class, C-class and Promenade cabins on Silja Symphony will sleep 4 persons, https://en.tallink.com/silja-symphony-siljaline-cruise-ship . And Silja Serenade is almost identical.

I have taken both Silja and Viking over the years and would agree with Badger that Viking is not the ”party boat”. I go with whatever line has the better price. I took Viking on my last trip and we had an excellent dinner in one of the restaurants. I do think the Silja ships look more impressive as they have this large interior promenade, but the onboard facilities are very similar.

Both ships have A class cabins with a window and 4 beds (2 sets of bunks).
