I am planning to visit Copenhagen, Stockholm, Oland, and Talin this summer with my 3 teens, ages 19, 17 and 14. I was thinking a cruise may be a convenient way to see many of these places. I'm worried that the average age of these cruisers will be unacceptably high for my kids, but that is just a guess. Those of you who have cruised the Baltic, were there kids aboard too? Or is there a smaller cruise line that may be more family friendly?
Hi Heidi - We did a 12-day Baltic cruise (RT Dover) in 2010 on Norwegian (don't think they still have the same itinerary - now their Baltic cruises are RT Copenhagen I think). Our girls were 11 and 14 when we went, and they had a great time. We met some friends through Cruise Critic that had kids similar ages, and we had several dinners aboard where the adults sat at one table and the kids at another, and they had a great time. In fact, my husband and I have stayed in touch with a couple of families we met on this cruise, and even went on a Rick Steves tour with one of them this past summer (2015)!
