We have bought our Arlanda Express tickets. Do they cover onward travel, on the tram, within a certain time window.? Will we need to buy a tram ticket to get from Central Station to our hotel?
The Arlanda Express ticket does not cover onward travel, so depending on where you hotel is, you will need to buy a ticket at the central station. Single tickets are 44 kroner and cover all of Stockholm on all types of public transport.
Thank you!
Since local transit in Stockholm is expensive if you buy individual tickets, look into buying a transit pass before your first ride. I was last there in 2003 and so don't know current details, but I used the subway (T-Bana) and trams a fair amount, and got a great value out of my pass (at the time it was Stockholm a la Carte, which also included many museums, but I don't think this deal is still available).
Will be in Stockholm soon.. Can I buy a transit pass at the airport?
