5 hours in Gothenburg

Hi, over the summer I will be taking the bus from Copenhagen to Oslo, and stopping at Gothenburg from noon around 4:30. What are some attractions/ restaurants I should be able to visit? I heard Gothenburg was known for the seafood so what do people recommend that would not take the long to eat and is decently cheap? Thank you so much!

Some extra questions: Where can I drop my luggage off safely?

There are lockers at the central station you can use for your bag. Although I'd recommend the train from Copenhagen to Gothenburg, it's a bit faster and more comfortable.

And a bit of advice. You've posted a lot of questions, and it will increase the chance of getting answers if you come back to them.

That depends a bit on your interests, but there are many things to see and do in Gothenburg. There are many great museums e.g.

I visited Gothenburg during a conference a year and a half ago, and I had about three-four hours of free time. It was enough time to have a good walk around the city center (mixed feelings, but nice in parts), the Haga district (my favorite), the Skansen Kronan hill just south of it (good city views), and east towards the Kungsportaveny (not very interesting, felt very generic).

I had an excellent fish dinner at Hedlunds Havbar on a different day. It could be your lunch spot.
