1.5 hours on Grinda worth the ride?

I am planning our last full day in Sweden to include a day trip out on Grinda in early July 2025.
the timetables show only two ferry trips per day.

The earliest Cinderella ferry from Stockholm arrives on Grinda at 11:30 am.
For the return trip, the first ferry departs Ginda at 1:15 pm. The next subsequent ferry departs at 6:15 pm.

For our visit, the best return ferry departs Grinda at 1:15 pm as we intend to visit and have dinner in Sigtuna before checking into our hotel at Arlanda Airport.

Anyway, my RS book says that the journey out to the islands on the ferries is wonderful. That said, my question is is an hour and half on Grinda Island worthy of this adventure?

Why not? Despite not being densely populated there are two restaurants, a cafe, and a bakery on the island, so not a bad place for lunch. But you can probably stay longer.

Cinderella are tour boats, you can also have a look at Waxholmsbolaget that operate the regular ferries in the archipelago, www.waxholmsbolaget.se. At the moment they only show the winter schedule but there will probably be more departures in the summer. Just keep in mind that there are two "ports" on the island.

And unless your flight departs very early I'd suggest spending the last night in Sigtuna, it's much nicer than the airport.

Trust the book. The journey through the archipelago is the destination. The time on the island is part of a whole. 105 minutes can be plenty.
