My 18yo granddaughter and I will be in London and Amsterdam this June. She is graduating from high school and is already enrolled for college in September. I see that a student ID is required for a lot of discounts. Can she use her high school ID that reads 2018-2019? She won't have her college ID until the fall. I really don't want to pay $25-30 for an ISIC card at the local college. We are going to the major sights. Are they really picky about checking ID's?

To get a student discount you have to show an id in Amsterdam.

You must show an ID for the discount for the most part, but her high school ID should be enough. The ISIC cards in my experience are not worth it.
