My employer and his 5 children will be visiting Europe next spring. I have been tasked with finding a program/activity/experience for the kids in a major European city. My boss would like for them to feel culturally immersed via a program or experience (perhaps even something that spans over several days) rather than just dragging them from one site to another. Does anyone have any recommendations or suggestions that might help?
They will be in Europe during the month of March and the ages of the children range from 7 to 15.
Well he could pick up a copy of Volunteer Vacations but I suspect some of his children are too young to participate. If had an idea of where he'd like to travel ( London? Rome? Istanbul? Madrid? ) then research local churches or discover if there are annual festivals and contacting them about participating and helping. If he went to London the family would enjoy Mud Chute Farm or if the tides were out mud larking. I'd also see if the Natural History Museum was doing their overnight camp outs. Dino Snores are what the overnights are called.
