In Rick’s Barcelona book he mentions this app as an option that works like Uber. Has anyone tried it and found it useful? We will be in Barcelona for only 3 days before the start of a cruise and don’t want to try to navigate public transportation. If you didn’t use this app and simply “flagged down” a taxi, how did that go? Thanks!

Public transportation is far easier and more convenient than you might think. Still, if you want to move about by taxi, simply flag down one -when you see the roof green pilot on. Note that certain areas (ie the heart of the Old City) are semi-pedestrianized.
