Casa Olea is a wonderful 6 room hotel run by Claire and Tim along with their son, Max, British expats who have been living in Spain for 20 years. We loved our 3 nights here! It’s only a little over an hour away from Cordoba by car, in beautiful countryside. Claire and Tim suggested excellent hikes and provided maps. They have tips for all the sights in the area, down to where you can park without hassle. We don’t speak Spanish, and it was very helpful to get detailed instructions we could understand. The hotel itself is charming, clean, very comfortable, and Claire cooks delicious meals. We loved our two weeks in Andalucia and Casa Oleo was the definite highlight!

We have our second trip to Casa Olea booked for next spring (our first being last year). It’s one of the best travel experiences we’ve ever had.

Isn’t it beautiful? I love the cities in Andalucia, but staying in the countryside far exceeded our expectations.
