Wineries in Spain

Hi. I was wondering if there are any wineries in the mid to southern part of Spain that have accommodations for guests as well as tours.

Can you be more specific regarding an area you’re looking at. Spain is a large country and from the information provided could include Extremadura, Andalucía, Murcia, Valencia, and Castilla-La Mancha regions. If you have a preferred Spanish wine, look at the bottle to see where the bodega is.

There are a number of wineries in Valdepeñas. It’s midway between Madrid and Granada. Even if there are no accommodations right at the winery. there are nearby hotels in town. Some of the bodegas include, La Bodega de las Estrellas, Bodegas Arúspide, and Corcovo - Bodegas J.A. Megía e Hijos. The link goes to a La Mancha wine site that list numerous wines from that area. From that same site you can look up the other regions, such as Andalucía.

And for sherry go to Jerez de la Frontera. Tio Pepe offers a wonderful tour there.
