Looking for great wine experiences from Barcelona or possibly tarragona with transportation. Serious wine person. Would love to go to Priorat and possibly penedes or alella. I’ve been to Freixenet. Any recs? Thanks friends!

Torres is nearby-ish if you are looking for a big name bucket list, ala Freixenet.

In 2017, we took a small-group wine tour to Priorat with Spanish Trails. Even without the wine, it was a wonderful experience. We also took a separate day trip to Tarragona with Spanish Trails - highly recommend that one as well.

I visited 3 wineries in 2019. Two in the Priorat region: Ferrer Bobet, http://www.ferrerbobet.com/inicio-en.html and Mas Doix, http://www.masdoix.com, and one in the Penedès region, Carol Valès cellar, https://cellerscarol.com, which is a cava producer.
