Looking for any wine tasting recommendations when we spend three nights in Llafranc We have a car and plan to drive to Girona
We would love to plan a visit to a winery know to have well acclaimed wines Any suggestions that would help us? We are from California, close to Napa and love to try all wines

Look at the Empordà (DO) Wine Region, in North-East Girona province, its an official denominación de origen of Spain. I have not been to any specific winery in that region, but it's known for the Grenache and Syrah.
