We're really looking forward to our Rick Steves tour of Spain in April, but one thing puzzles me. Why the hesitant language about the Alhambra? ("visit to the sprawling palace and garden complex of the Alhambra (when available)"). Nothing on the Alhambra web site or the RS guides suggests a limited opening schedule. Is the palace under renovation in 2024?

I agree with Jazz about contacting the RS office. In my experience, they respond to emails more quickly than phone calls. With the post-pandemic influx of travelers, many of the popular sites have restricted tickets available for tour groups. So I suspect that many be what’s behind the hedging.
