Are there towns to stay at that you can shuttle into Pamplona to be able to witness the running of the bulls? I figure it is way to late to stay anywhere in the town. And are there any known shuttle services from these towns? Someone mentioned that is what they did but I didn't get a chance to get more information than that.
3ddana,
probably going to be a bit rough. Remember that the Corridas are at 8 am. It will be an early bus ride to get to the center, and then to the path of the running.
They have a pretty good bus system in the Pamplona area, the Villavesa. Here is the official program of the Sanfermines with info about getting to Pamplona, and a link to the Villivesa. Close to Pamplona you could try Cizur (either one), Noain, or Sarriguren.
Farther out Puente la Reina or Tafalla probably have special service those days so people run.
Also the day you go will be important. The 6th will be crazy, and the 7th 8th and 9th are a weekend so there will be a lot of people from around all of Navarra will be there.
Thank you so much for the information, I really appreciate it. That is nice of you to take the time to respond.
Maybe Cizormenor or Cizormajor? They are fairly close and there is a bus going into Pamplona.
Can anyone chime in on what the last day of the festival will be like? That is the earliest I will be able to make it to Pamplona, and would love to see it. I am probably going to stay stay in San Sebastian, which looks about an hour away by public transportation. Thank you for any info!
