I am traveling to Ibiza at the end of April/ beginning of May for a triathlon race. The race is in San antoni so I would like some advice about where to stay. Most of what I have read is not very flattering. We will mainly be on foot/ bikes for transportation. We are not interested in partying/ clubbing. Reasonable distance to a beach would be nice. Ease for accessing public transport would also be appreciated. We would need accommodation for 2 people. A kitchen/ kitchenette is preferred. Under 100 euros per night if possible.

Avoid San Antonio at all costs. While the end of April, beginning of May will not be prime partying season (most opening parties are held on the last weekend of May) there may well be some tourists seeking a hedonistic week of partying.
I've always tended to stay in the Playa d'en Bossa area which is more popular with families and has a decent enough beach or Ibiza Town which is a lot more refined than San Antonio. Ibiza is a small island so travelling times are not long.
