Where to stay for a month in Spain in June

Hi, Would be interested in suggestions from savvy travelers. We are walking the Camino for a second time in May & plan to stay on for a month in Spain starting beginning of June. There are suggestions Andalusia might be too hot? Any cool places elsewhere?? We don’t really need to be in a city, being fairly close to town is sufficient. Thank you!!

Consider visiting the Basque region in northern Spain. I agree with avoiding Andalucia in june.
We found the Basque regions in both Spain and France to be interesting and lovely places to visit.
We enjoyed Getaria in Spain and the small villages in the Pyrenees in France such as Saré, Ascain and Ainhoa.

Guess it depends on which Camino you’re walking and what your likes are. Much of Spain is hot in June. The north (Galicia, Asturias, Cantabria, Basque area, Navarra) coast and Pyrenees would probably be cooler.

It would be easy to spend a month between Extremadura, Castilla y León, and Castilla y La Mancha. You could also split time between La Rioja, Aragón, Castilla y León, and Castilla y La Mancha.

Galicia and/or Asturias!

Perfect in June!!

Look at Ribasedella in Asturias.
Or Pontevedra in Galicia
