For eclipse week (Sun-Fri) I'll be staying at a hotel in Alcobendas north of Madrid that's not too convenient with public transit but I'll have a rental car for the whole time (not like you can rent a car for fewer days that week) and of course I need it to drive toward the center line on Wed Aug 12. It will be my first time seeing Madrid on those other days. Where are good places that I can park to ride public transit into the city?
