Flying in this June for a whirlwind trip. The plan is to head up the coast to check out some spots in Girona & Olot. Would like recommendations on where to spend a night or two in a beachfront rental before heading inland. Perhaps somewhere on the Gulf of Roses? Begur? Palamos? Saint Feliu de Gulxos?
Any favorite stops on this little jaunt would be appreciated as well!

Monday - Head west to Olot, stopping along the way in Girona.

Wednesday - Driving back into Barcelona, returning rental, Checking into hotel for Convention
Thursday - Attend convention, hit up local breweries and bottle shops
Friday - Check out of convention hotel. Check out the Picasso Museum.
