I am packing up tp leave next week. Taking a cruise
i will be in Bilbao, La Coruna and Vigo (Santiago) on October 19, 20 and 21 respectfully..
I only have a small suitcase.
For those of you who have lived in any of these areas or visited a lot, what maybe can I expect when it comes to the weather. But I wrote this knowing the weather everywhere is currently not very predictable
Not having the right clothes for the weather can really ruin a trip.

I believe that either France, Spain or Portugal are having a heat wave and it is around 90.
The north and west coasts of Spain tend to be cool and overcast even in midsummer. However, the forecast for the next week--at least in Bilbao--does look freakishly warm.
I live in Bilbao and weather all over northern Spain is normally humid and much cooler than in other areas south. It´s not the classic idea of Spain: it´s green, mountainous and no beach resorts at all. While the above is true, we are "enjoying" (well, not used to this heat) a very warm start of fall, we are 10º C over normal temperatures at this time of the year. But this may change quickly, you never know about weather here, winds change constantly and there´s always the possibility of some rain some time.
I've always found that the local meteo service is the most accurate since they know their turf much better than any of those "global" services.
