Hi Everyone, we have a wedding in between Sitges and Barcelona over Labor Day. We are planning an adult trip without our young children. We’ve been to Barcelona before but no where else. Where would you recommend for a 10 ish day trip? Thinking flight to Mallorca or Porto or Lisbon, or train to Grenada or other
We enjoy quaint villages, delicious/local restaurants, wine, outdoors, nature, good shopping (farmers market/local markets) not high end.
My wife and I prefer small towns or the smaller cities and generally get a rental car. If I had 10 days in that area I might stay in Tortosa, Alcañiz, Lleida, or Cardona and visit sites between them. Further into the Pyrenees for a more remote and back to nature experience, Seu d'Urgell, Artíes, Vielha, or Biesla. There are a number of small towns in the Vic-Girona-Núria area, such as Rupit, Besalú, Castellfollit de la Roca and Camprodon.
For larger locations, Zaragoza and Logroño have what you’re interested in.
There are plenty of options.
