You can go to wunderground.com, enter Barcelona as the location, then choose historical and monthly data. Select October 2016, October 2015, etc. to look at recent years' weather stats. There will be an hour-by-hour temperature graph. That will give you an accurate picture of the range of temperatures you can expect.

Normally, it's still pretty nice... around 18-22C (64-76F). Rain isn't particularly a problem, the wet months are normally April and September. Yet rain in Barcelona tends to be short downpours (20-30' tops) then the day "goes on" :)) This is not to say, of course, that we don't have also a few miserable all-day-drizzling gray days during the year.

Your best bet is to follow the National Weather Service of Catalonia, at www.meteo.cat which is, obviously, the most accurate for this region. Despite the site is only in Catalan, the local language, it's pretty user-friendly as it's very visual -so easy to understand- even if you don't read Catalan. If I were you I'd keep an eye at this URL: http://www.meteo.cat/prediccio/municipal/080193 which offers the forecast for the next 8 days, in this case, in Barcelona, including the probability of rain (blue bars).

Weather in this area is quite nice most of the time, even when it rains, life can go on as usual. Having said that, due to the orography of the area it's difficult to forecast too long in advance and that's why anything beyond a week is highly speculative,
