Does anyone have a recommendation for a walking tour in Barcelona? I’m especially interested in food tours. Thanks
We did a food tour with Devour Tours and had a great time.
We also did a walking tour with Runner Bean Tours

It's a free walking tour that depends on tips.
I liked the tour of the Barri Gotic offered by the tourist office as of 2016. The groups size was limited. The "free" tours I saw in the same area seemed to be considerably larger, and I always have more faith in the accuracy of the information provided on tours I've arranged through the local tourist office. There were also tours focused on modernista architecture (not going inside any of the pricey Gaudi sites) and Picasso--both fine, but I liked the Barri Gotic tour best.
The Spanish Civil War is a fascinating watershed that resonates bigly today so I’d highly recommend Nick Lloyd’s walking tour. Really well done.
A second recommendation for the Spanish Civil War tour in Barcelona.
I really liked the Civil War tour, too, but it's considerably longer--maybe four hours? And as the tour organizers will tell you, it's more about information-imparting than observation of sights because apparently not all that many critical C.W. events happened in Barcelona.
To add context, acraven's comments on the Spanish Civil War are on the mark. It is largely informational. You do not do a tremendous amount of walking. But the Spanish Civil War was a complex and traumatic event, and Lloyd did a good job discussing the complexity of the war--the many divisions on the Republican side and the dominance of the Stalinists at the end. The Civil War tour in Madrid is totally different. The lady who gives it sends email confirmations to those signing up stating that they need to understand she is an unabashed defender of the Republican side.
Thanks all!
