Can anyone Recommend a good guide book for Walking the Camino?
Our regular poster Ms. Jo walked the Camino in 2015; her post about it is here: https://community.ricksteves.com/travel-forum/trip-reports/walking-the-camino-to-santiago-de-compestela
And in another thread, she recommended this message board: https://www.caminodesantiago.me/community/
If she doesn't see this thread, send her a private message.
Here's another Camino thread with book recommendations: https://community.ricksteves.com/travel-forum/spain/hiking-the-santiago-de-compostela
I walked the Camino and the most popular guide book is Brierleys Guide, A Pilgrim's Guide to the Camino de Santiago: St. Jean • Roncesvalles • Santiago.

Buen Camino
I used the German book, which is now available in English on Kindle I believe. A lot of the English speakers that I walked with said they found the information I had from this book to be missing in the Brierley book. It isn't set up in such strict stages.
Really recommend joining one of the Camino forums and read what lots of other people think about the various books available, plus you get tons of great information from them.
