Walking food tour in Barcelona

We returned from Spain two days ago. We enjoyed our tapas tour with this company https://thebarcelonataste.com/. There were singles on our tour.

I hope someone with more recent experience posts, but several years ago....maybe close to a decade ago, we enjoyed the Food Lovers tour. It was a small group of maybe 8, plus the guide. Most were single people traveling alone, then a mom/adult daughter, and us (married couple). It was an incredible experience, and we thoroughly enjoyed the various locally-owned restaurants to which we were taken, and the food was INCREDIBLE, with lots of good explanation of the customs/food/wine, etc. At the time, we selected them based on reviews on TripAdvisor (along with the photos). We found them very responsive to our inquiry and coordination of meeting place, etc. was well communicated with nice follow-up, too.

(Edited to say, I am glad Alan was typing at the same time, as his experience was definitely more recent than ours.)

We also did a tapas tour with Barcelona Taste at the end of April, and thoroughly enjoyed it. My husband and I happened to be the only people on the tour, but it was the delightful guide, Maribel, that made it memorable. Any other tour members would have been welcome. We visited 3 different tapas restuarants in Barcelona: one for appetizers, one for main course type food and one for deserts. We used it as an introduction to tapas dining in Spain at the beginning of our trip, and it served us well.

2018 we used Devour tours and had an amazing time learning about the markets, tapas, history, and so much more. Bunch of stops, lot of walking and just a great morning/early PM tour.
